For working with the mineral remedies by element: Jan Scholten’s Homeopathy and the Elements applies the periodic table to remedy pictures, including the elements that are rarely prescribed.
Scholten reads the rows of the table as series, each with a theme of its own, and the eighteen columns as stages that build to a peak and fall away. The series draw on themes from different ages of a life and together form a spiral; the sixth row, the gold series, takes the leader or king as its theme. He is open that several of the ideas need further development, and that the pictures deduced by group analysis need provings and clinical confirmation. Only a few of these remedies, such as Aurum or Argentum nitricum, were well known; elements like Hafnium or Krypton were, in his words, “white patches on a map of the known world” (Jan Scholten, Homeopathy and the Elements).
- Introduction: the spiral, the seven series, the 18 stages, group analysis and the blank remedy.
- The seven series in turn: Hydrogen, Carbon, Silicium, Ferrum, Silver, Gold and Uranium, each with its elements and their salts.
RadarOpus also has a Periodic Table Map built on Scholten’s scheme. The Families page shows how it can limit or highlight an analysis to a row and stage, or to a combination of stages. Ask us which packages include it.
