Murphy built this edition as a rewrite of his Homeopathic Medical Repertory, second edition. After editing the second edition he added modern terminology and cross references, corrected errors, and surveyed the literature for reliable additions. The result has 74 chapters, current disease names, and one alphabetical order for chapters, rubrics and sub-rubrics. It contains all of Kent’s repertory, with additions from Allen, Boericke, Bönninghausen, Burnett, Clarke, Grimmer, Hahnemann, Hering, Julian, Knerr, Kunzli, Nash and Phatak, plus clinical updates from Murphy’s own research.
