A two-volume Materia Medica by Ton Jansen on plant and tree remedies, arranged by family, for the case where the family theme points you towards a group of remedies and you then need to separate them.
In The Healing Nature of Plants, each family chapter opens with the biology of the family, moves to its homeopathic theme, and closes with short entries for the member remedies. There are 24 families. The entries are short, so for a fuller picture of a remedy go on to the main Materia Medica. Jansen builds the themes on his work as a plant grower and on phenomenological research as well as homeopathic study.
The Solanaceae chapter shows the pattern. Jansen opens it with a family theme of “tremendous fears, mostly fear of water and of the dark”. It then lists the family, from Belladonna, Dulcamara and Hyoscyamus to Mandragora and Stramonium.
The trees volume, The Healing Nature of Trees, is the companion to the plants volume. The radaropus.com page has screenshots of the books in the program. Check what your package already includes on the package comparison before adding it.
