for Synthesis 9Aims: * To resolve the increasing discrepancy
within the homeopathic community between the quest for quality and the demand
for completeness * * Quantity: - Dozens of remedies for
which no repertory information was previously available
Information on the
most frequently used new remedies, including the major recent provings
- Dozens of remedies for which no repertory information was previously available
* * Quality : - Although the quantity of information is substantially
increased, quality increases even more:
- Existing remedies are confirmed by
referencing them with additional classical authors (more than 300,000 of new such
additions alone)
- For the first time the remedies in the Repertory will be
linked directly with the precise Materia Medica text : you can jump from the Repertory
to the Materia Medica and vice-versa
- You can define your own quantity and
quality with the « confidence levels » CONFIDENCE LEVELS
- For the first time,
the quality of information in a Repertory is evaluated and labeled
* * You
can work with Synthesis at the level of information you desire : from a Synthesis
which offers the most greatest quantity to one which respects your demand for
top quality * * Confidence levels indicates the confidence one may have
that this remedy is relevant and correct in the rubric* * Every remedy in Synthesis
gets a certain confidence level: this is calculated on the basis of many criteria.
* * You can use Synthesis with the minimum confidence you want or need
at any given time (ranges from 0 to 10) * * Change the confidence level
(respectively less or more remedies) with one click of the mouse * *
Some examples of the criteria for confidence levels : - Already present
in Kent's Repertory
- Confirmed by 1/2/... classical authors
- Originates
from a homoeopath with average/great experience
* * No need to configure
anything prior to using this new tool : criteria for confidence levels are preset,
but, if you wish, also user-definable, e.g. : give your personal weight to each
criterion « Confidence Level » versus « degree »
- Degrees indicate the frequency with which a remedy appeared in a given symptom
of provings, clinical experience, toxicology, or in a combination of these.
- Two
remedies may have an identically high confidence level as one may appear many
times in a proving and the other but few. This latter difference is reflected in
a different degree.
